Avengers: Infinity War was a great joy to work on. As an artist on this film I was afforded the opportunity to touch a range of diverse areas. Primarily the work I did was based on the final battle of the film, which takes place around the city of Wakanda.
There was the city itself, which I had the honour of taking the reins on. This was a really interesting challenge as the original Black Panther was being made at the same time, so there was a lot of conversation and cross site communication that needed to be had to ensure both films presented a simlar look and feel for the city when they were released. This film shows the defensive shield around the city as it comes alive.
Outside the city we witness our heros battling in the forest which involved a lot of photography projections on cards for the jungle, and in closer shots there was a fair amount of artistic placement of vegitation I did to hide crew and gear that had crept into frame.
